Smiths is a family owned business which
has been recently refurbished and is centrally located on the main
street in the town of Kells. It is situated just yards up the street from
the excellent Headfort Arms Hotel making Smiths the ideal overflow accommodation venue
for large weddings. Smiths is also very close to the Oliver Usher auction rooms.
In Headfort Golf Club, Kells has two of the finest championship
courses in Ireland and a short visit will provide an ideal
opportunity for you to test your skill on one of the courses, over
night in Smiths and play the second course the next day. There is also excellent fishing in Kells on the
river Blackwater. Other sport also thrives in the town with Kells Celtic Football Club, North Meath Rugby F.C. and Kells Boys F.C.
all enjoying recent successes. Smiths is also an ideal base for the Kells Road Races as well as concerts at Slane Castle.
Smiths also provide excellent 'workers rates' which are rates for people working in Kells who find themselves
staying on rolling contracts, such as engineers on the M3 motorway which is currently under constrcution.
Kells town offers excellent restaurants such as the award winning Vanilla Pod and the Cross Street Bistro, both within
very short walking distances of Smiths. Kells Tennis Club and Kells Pitch and Putt course are close at hand for the more energetic visitor. Smiths
is also within walking distance of the newly renovated Kells Heritage Center.
For the racing enthusiast, Navan Race
course is just eight miles away and the betting shop is next door
to the premises which also has a Punters Bar.

From Dublin Airport - take M1 towards Dublin, get off first exit
onto M50 and take exit for Cavan onto the N3 - Kells is just 40
minutes away.Bus Eireann provide regular half hour service to and
from Dublin through Kells
